Exporting specially designed children's furniture from Bursa, Moremo Furniture's quality and safety studies started to attract attention around the world. Moremo Furniture, which produces samples upon the product request from England, is proud of the successful passing of the safety and quality tests of the products it sends. Company Founding Partner Pervin Katana said in a statement; “From the first year we were established, we put the quality, safety and child health at the forefront. We have always continued our production with this understanding. We have sent our handcrafted products to many countries of the world in a quarter of a century. Lastly, a sample product request came from England. We have sent baby cribs suitable for 0-6 months use that we have prepared.  Our products have been subjected to the worldwide approved EN 1130:2019 quality and safety test and have passed with full marks. This result makes us proud. We are trying to represent our country in the best way in our own field with the products we produce.”

FEATURES TO BE CONSIDERED IN BABY CRADLES

Company Co-Founder Pervin Katana, who clarified the concept of baby cradles; “Baby cribs; These are products with a cradle base with a maximum inner length of 90 cm, designed to allow babies to sleep until they can sit up unaided, pull or push themselves on their hands and knees. Cradles are useful for up to six months and offer a safer enclosure for babies.” Making statements about the quality standards of baby cradles, Pervin Katana underlined that the finger spacing of baby cradles should not be more than 6 centimeters. Emphasizing that cradles with movable guardrails and the front part of which goes down, should definitely not be preferred, Katana said; ‘’the height of the crib should not exceed 120 centimeters. Also, as much as possible, nothing should be put inside. The mattress in the crib should not be hard or soft, it should be of medium hardness. The mattress you choose should be fully compatible with the crib, and there should be no dangerous gaps between the mattress and the cradle where the baby can get stuck. The sheets you use in bed should not be loose, they should wrap the bed tightly. Do not use a blanket while your baby is sleeping, put your baby to sleep with a sleeper. If you are going to use a blanket, fix the blanket tightly around the bed like a sheet and pull it up to your baby's chest. Do not hang ornaments such as ribbon and nettings above and around the baby's crib. Especially when your baby is alone, never leave pillows, toys, plush items in his bed. The more empty your crib is, the safer it is’’ she said.

PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT TESTED ARE DANGEROUS FOR BABIES

Moremo Furniture Co-founder Pervin Katana, pointing out that cradles and children's furniture should definitely be purchased from a trusted manufacturer, explained that the quality and durability of the product should also be tested before purchasing. Pervin Katana said that care should be taken to buy products produced using materials suitable for child health; “Unfortunately, crib habits are out of safety standards in our country. Apart from the unconsciousness of the consumers, manufacturers also produce with purely commercial concerns without any standard knowledge and consumers  buy products produced in the market without question and use them for their babies. Unfortunately, this poses a risk to our babies. In European countries, the situation is completely different. The products produced for the use of babies are first put through the necessary tests. It is offered for sale after eligibility.”
