On average 5 children per day aged up to 4 years old are injured or killed whilst travelling in a car within the UK. Two of the major factors behind these dismal statistics are driver distraction and incorrect use of child car seats.
One issue in particular is that a child can render their car seat useless in seconds by simply pushing their arms under the harness. This simple action also increases driver distraction.
The solution is to shield the gaps that toddlers use to push their arms under the harness.
